ASUS ZenFone 2E is an United States AT&T exclusive



ASUS, Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company has announced a new smartphone in the United States exclusively for the American multinational telecommunications corporation, AT&T, earlier yesterday.

The new phone will come from their existing lineup of ZenFone Android fleet, coming to the company's prepaid brand, GoPhone packed with an affordable price tag of 119 United States Dollars, dubbed as AT&T's latest ASUS ZenFone 2E. The handset is already up for grabs from the stores of Walmart and Target nationwide, from plans of GoPhone with no annual contract. Devices will be offered right from AT&T, as promised we should see it launching on 24 of this month. BestBuy will stock the ZenFone from 2 of August, this year.

In terms of design, the phone will almost resemble any of it's ZenFone 2 sibling, attributing concentric-circle design rear hardware buttons setup. So, from the inside, ASUS made ZenFone 2E will ship with a five-inches High Definition IPS screen of 720p resolution display, Dual-Core Intel Atom processor, featuring a gigabyte of LPDDR2 Random Access Memory and eight gigabytes eMMC of on-board storage, that is further expandable through microSD card slot up to 64 GB. From the back we have an eight megapixels primary shooter with five element auto-focusing lens, f/2.2 aperture and LED flash light, on the front sits a two megapixels front facing secondary camera.

ZenFone 2E has got support to 4G LTE, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0, powered by a 2,500mAh battery that can proffer 19 hours of talk time. ASUS's new make will run over Android's 5.0 Lollipop version with their custom ZenUI on top. The phone arrives in Pure Black and Ceramic White shades.

It seems like most of the carriers from the Stateside is busy updating their smartphones to new software versions as well as seeding performance upgrades. Now we have come across the American multinational telecommunications corporation, AT&T who has already began updating their very own, at least in the United States, the rugged and robust Samsung galaxy S6 Active with a minor software refurbish. Unfortunately, the carrier haven't provided us with any additional information on their new upgrade for the smartphone, while just adding another page to their online support domain.
