As the invites for the new OnePlus 2 are still busy being send out to the million fans awaiting around the globe and while many of their customers have already received the new smartphones, we yesterday saw that, the Chinese phone maker's forum staff member, Mike have officially announced their first set of OxygenOS over-the-air (OTA) update roll out for the all new handset, starting from India and eventually making way to other parts of the world.
So, the new software refreshment for the phone will take you to the OxygenOS version 2.0.1, as well as it includes various bug fixes and the very very necessary security patch for the Stagefright security exploit.
- Added a patch for the Stagefright security exploit
- Improves battery performance
- Improves user interface logic and coherence
- Fixed an issue with pinch-to-zoom in Google Photos
- Fixed an issue where Dark Mode would cause instability in certain apps
- Fixed an issue related to import/export of contacts stored on SIM card
- Additional support for global carrier APNs
- Other improvements and bug fixes
