AT&T now seeding Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Samsung's Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in the US



AT&T has announced that, they have officially released software update for their Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 in the United States with model numbers SM-T537A, starting from yesterday, 29 July, 2015. The new software refreshment will hit the tablets over AT&T's network through a Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) using WiFi, as of scheduled.

According to the new software roll out for the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, we won't be treated to Android 5.0, like other devices, where else AT&T has planned to upgrade the system right to the latest Android's operating system 5.1.1 Lollipop from the current running version of 4.4.2 KitKat.

So, in order to get this new build edition of LMY47X.T537AUCU1BOG5 of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop to your AT&T Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, you should be receiving a notification on your tablet, from which you can tap Continue and follow the instructions, that will basically start the 926 megabytes worth download and will begin the installation of the new software iteration.

We admit this can take a few days to show up automatically, so you can always check for the software overhaul manually by connecting to a WiFi network, and heading over to the About device section under settings and hit that Software update tab to check for updates.
