HTC in India goes official with Desire 820G+, priced under 20,000 INR



HTC, formerly High-Tech Computer Corporation has announced their latest device coming in from their very own Desire line of affordable Android smartphones to India earlier this day, after making it's debut in the company's homeland back in May.

Today HTC India announced Desire 820G+ for the Indian markets and will be on sale for customers looking for a Desire phone at a price of 19,990 Indian Rupees, which roughly makes about 315 United States Dollars, unlocked. The phones should start piling up Indian bazaars soon, in shades of Milky Way Grey, Saffron Grey and Santorini White color options.

So, for that sort of price you will be treated with a HTC Desire smartphone which will come out of the box with a 5.5-inches High Definition IPS LCD screen of 720p resolution display, running over an Octa-Core MediaTek MKT6592 processor with Cortex-A7, clocked at 1.7GHz, Mali-450MP4 Graphics Processing Unit, one gigabyte of Random Access Memory and 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage, that is expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot. You also have a 13 megapixels main camera with LED flash and an eight megapixels secondary camera for outstanding selfies and both capable of capturing 1080p videos.

Now from connectivity, we see it sporting 3G HSPA networks over dual-SIM standby capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS with A-GPS for better location navigation services. A 2,600mAh powered battery and running Android 4.4 KitKat with proprietary Sense 6.0 user interface on top. Desire 820G+ is measured at 157.7 x 78.7 x 7.7 millimeters and weighs 154.5 grams on scale.
