HTC One M9 on T-Mobile now gets the Android 5.1 OS refreshment



Earlier we saw the T-Mobile seeding out software enhancements to Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in the United States, and now, beginning yesterday, we have them quietly sending out another software update, which will this time come to the T-Mobile based users of the Taiwanese 2015 flagship phones, HTC One M9. Previously we have seen Sprint and AT&T rolling out the updates their smartphones in the Stateside, over the past weeks, that brought these carriers handset's early to Android 5.1 Lollipop upgrade.

The new software number for T-Mobile HTC One M9 is marked at 2.7.531.6, that is reported to bring some new features like the Android 5.1 OS refurbish along with Anti-theft and Google Wallet. The improvements this time will include for the battery performance.

It seems to be a slightly heavy download for you folks over T-Mobile's network, as the new OTA will weigh around 833 megabytes in total. So without wasting anymore time, head over to the About phone section and check of the new update, and grab it on arrival, as it can take a few more days to show up as any other seed-out. You will require 50% or higher battery and a solid WiFi connection to get things downloaded over-the-air.
