Huawei goes official with MediaPad M2 8.0 Android powered slate



Huawei, the Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company has announced their new member to the MediaPad lineup of Android tablet, named as MediaPad M2 8.0. The new product from Huawei comes with some of the best specs a middle-ranged slate can offer you. The newly announced tablet from Huawei is all about the premium sound and upscale music experience with a great construction of full metal body technology, where the people from China captions their new device to, Amplify Your Excitement.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 8.0 arrives in Gold and Silver colors and is said to bring Music to Your Ears. And Your Eyes, by introducing world's first 8-inch all metal 4G media tablet with cutting-edge design for ultimate entertainment experience. The tablet will come out of the box featuring harman/kardon sound technology for extravagant audio enhancement with dual speakers, larger chamber, Huawei patented high quality Codec Hi6402, couple of embedded SmartPA chipsets amplifier and SWS 2.0 tech for crisp high notes, deeper and richer bass and more detailed sound. The sleek new slate from Huawei is just measured at 214.8 x 124 x 7.8 mm and only weighs 330 grams making more comfortable in hands for usage and handling.

From the technical department, the Huawei manufactured MediaPad M2 8.0 will be offered in couple of version, one being a Standard edition and another one to be a Premium edition. They both will attribute an 8.0-inches Full High Definition 10-point capacitive touchscreen of 1920 x 1200 resolution pixels, their own Kirin 930 64 bit Octa-Core processor clocked at 2.0GHz, for Graphics Processing Unit it supports Mali-T628 MP4 plus i3 co-processor. And now the Standard edition will pack two gigabytes of LPDDR3 Random Access Memory with 16 gigs of on board storage, where else the Premium edition will be out three gigabytes of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of ROM space.

In terms of the camera, the M2 8.0 will showcase an eight megapixels auto-focusing main camera on the back with LED flash light and a two megapixels front facer for selfies plus video calls. For connectivity, we have fourth generation LTE network support for blazing connection speeds along with 2.4/5GHz WLAN, IEEE 802.11ac/a/b/g/n, 2.4/5GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 which is compatible with 3.0 2.1 + A2D, EDR, BLE and GPS, A-GPS with Glonass for location and better navigation. As sensors are concerned, we will see ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, hall sensor and compass. There will even be a 4,800mAh lithium polymer battery, running Android 5.1 Lollipop with polished Emotion UI 3.1. We have no details about it's availability nor pricing yet.
