NVIDIA announces voluntary recall for some of its SHIELD 8-inch tablets, that can probably cause fire

NVIDIA, the worldwide technology company from United States today announced a voluntary recall of its SHIELD 8-inches tablets, the models that were sold between the months of July 2014 and July 2015. According to the manufacturer, the battery in these tablets can overheat, which can even raise the possibilities of a fire hazard. What so ever, the recall does not affect any other NVIDIA products in line. As of the words that came in from Santa Clara, California a while ago, it's mentioned that, the company will replace the models that falls under the circumstances, after you register to participate in the recall.

In this regard, NVIDIA is now asking the customers to visit them at, www.nvidia.com/support/tabletrecall for a more detailed information on how to take part in the recall and have your slate replaced, as well as they are also requesting the consumers to immediately stop using these recalled tablets, except to perform the back up of your personal data.
