It was back in May, 2015, which was the last time NVIDIA updated their Shield Tablet to Android 5.1, and now a couple of days back the American worldwide technology company based in Santa Clara, California, have announced that, they will begin the roll out of the latest iteration of Android operating system to the devices, starting from 29 July, of this year.
The new software upgrade for the NVIDIA Shield Tablet is said to bring stability and performance improvements to the slate, that will also include the revamped operating system 5.1.1 Lollipop as well as system wide optimizations and fixes, especially for the problems with audio from the speakers of the Shield Tablet, that was earlier reported by some of the users, who had this sort of shrill noise while handling games and sound on the device. So, it is definitely the right time to go check for the update if you own this NVIDIA's ruthless game sovereign.
