Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 makes their way to India



Samsung's late entrant following the Galaxy J1 announced previously this year, the new Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 has made their debut officially for India, adding these two to the lineup of Galaxy J fleet of handsets. The phone will be offered in the country through the countryside online e-commerce website, Flipkart. The phones are already up for sale and is offered in shades of Gold, Black and White tones, respectively and is set to a reasonable price tag, also available at cash on delivery option.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 with 5-inches screen of 720p resolution display, Quad-Core 1.2GHz powered Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, Adreno 306 GPU, 1.5 GB of Random Access Memory, 8 GB on board internal memory, which can be expanded  through a microSD card slot, 13 megapixels primary cameras with f/1.9 lens and a five megapixels front facing secondary snapper, both with LED flash lights, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC connectivity, featuring a 2,600mAh battery, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung's own TouchWiz UI. This phone is put back for a price of 11,999 Indian Rupees, roughly about $189.

In that while, the Galaxy J7 is a slightly hiked version when compared to the Galaxy J5, which will pack most of the internal specifications alike it's sibling as aforementioned, but will come out of the box with a larger 5.5-inches screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC clocked at Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 plus Quad-Core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53, Adreno 405 GPU and a 16 gigabytes of internal storage and a bigger 3,000mAh powered battery. This device will be priced for 14,999 INR or 236 USD when converted.

Now for the fresh owners to be delighted, these modern smartphones will receive an extra $50 in-app purchase credit to redeem solely with games from the developer, Gameloft. Lastly for the folks on Airtel subscription for the Samsung made Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7, will get double the 4G LTE connection data for the phone, you buy pay for six months.
