Xiaomi's Hugo Barra says, it's no less than a year and away from launching their devices to US

Xiaomi, the well known and mass, really mass privately owned consumer electronics manufacturer from China has unfortunately got no part in playing their business in the United States yet, at least until now, which always raised a question in our minds, that when are the folks from the Chinese region going to look for an expansion to the Stateside, where they have already got so much of love and fans for the Xiaomi branded products ranging from smartphones, tablets, smart TV's and other electronics gadgets.

In a recent time, the firm marked a record first quarter sale of 34.7 million smartphones, showing 33 percent year-on-year increase around the globe, in limited markets, which doesn't count in the US. For now, in a latest interview with Bloomberg's Emily Chang, Xiaomi's Vice President of Global Operations, Hugo Barra discussed his company's plans of global expansions as well as their ideas on selling the Xiaomi phones in America.

According to the words of Hugo Barra, Xiaomi have no early plans to introduce or setup their business infrastructure in the United States, basically meaning they're not quite ready yet to localize their work in US. When asked more, he made a note, that they definitely have the US market in mind and they will sell their phones here some day, after having set up a team operationally, build certification process and on-going engineering development, etc which will all take a lot time and effort, that should take no less than an year plus away, potentially much more than a year away. So, we still have that great hope of having the Xiaomi labeled devices in the States, but sadly it's not going to be anytime soon. Patience folks, patience...
