Alcatel's OneTouch IDOL 3 4.7 has made it to US and Canada



Alcatel has announced a new entrant for the North America, that is coming to the United States and Canada, following their previously announced flagship handset, the 5.5-inched OneTouch IDOL 3, is it's smaller iteration of smartphone with 4.7-inches of screen size, named as the all new Alcatel OneTouch IDOL 3 4.7. 

The phone will be available unlocked and SIM-free from the manufacturer's own online stores as well as from Amazon, starting 14 of this month, which is the upcoming Friday. You can now add the device to cart on Alcatel's Stateside based domain, for a price of 179.99 United States Dollars. And if your own an Amazon Prime membership, you can get the phone in a free two-day shipping.

Apart from what the phone's screen size is concerned, the new IDOL 3 4.7 will exactly resemble it's elder sibling and we should see it coming out of the box with an aforementioned 4.7-inches High Definition TFT IPS screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display at 312 pixels-per-inch, and with vivid cinematic color experience with Technicolor Color Enhance technology, offers extraordinary picture and video quality from any viewing angle, even under direct sunlight. Down the hood, is a Quad-Core Qualcomm MSM8916 Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and Adreno 306 Graphics Processing Unit of 400 MHz.

The device will feature 1.5 gigabytes of Random Access Memory and 16 gigabytes of on board mass storage option, that can be expanded up to 32 gigabytes via microSD card slot. IDOL 3 4.7 also packs a 13 megapixels primary shooter on the back with auto-focus and LED flash light, capable of 1080p video recording at 30 frames-per-second, and there's a five megapixels secondary front facing snapper with an auto-focusing sensor too.

As the smartphone is unlocked and carrier-free, it supports bands for GSM 850/900/1800/1900, UMTS/HSPA+ B1/2/4/5 and LTE B2/4/5/7/12/17, along with other highlights like dual front facing speakers with JBL audio, including Clari-Fi technology by Harman. The device is powered by a 2,000mAh non-removable battery and runs Android's Lollipop version 5.0.2, that is shipped integrated with Stagefright security patch from Google.

Cricket Wireless now carrying HTC Desire 626s and LG G Stylo for the US
