Samsung announces their latest Galaxy Tab S2 in Seoul, coming in 9.7 and 8.0-inch versions



Samsung Electronics have finally introduced their latest versions of Galaxy Tab S2 tablets in Seoul, South Korea this morning. The company today took their time to release a press note on their official webpage announcing the global launch of Samsung's new devices unveiled from their Galaxy Tab S series for 2015, which will follow the previous generation Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 tablets, of last year.

Now with the updated models of their slates out, the Koreans believe in combining advanced personal visual experience with a stunning Super AMOLED display of their own, that is optimized for great reading and viewing of any digital content, also featuring the unmatched mobility with fashionable and stylishly designed world's thinnest and lightest aluminium metal tablet frame of it's size, as mentioned, making these modern Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 the firm's most enticing tablet announced till date.

"The Galaxy Tab S2 is not only our thinnest and lightest tablet of its size ever, it also gives users quick, easy access to a wealth of superior viewing and productivity features. We believe the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the most complete personal visual device designed for consumers to carry and use anywhere,"  quoted JK Shin, CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics.

As aforementioned, the recently developed tablets will come in couple of versions, that will be named, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 and Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, attributing different screen sizes, subsequently. The slates are said to represent deeper contrast and more precise detailing on the picture to provide the best-in-class viewing and reading experience with their Super AMOLED display in house, that will basically deliver 94 percent of natural tones when compared, for extremely true-to-life colors with the standards of Adobe RGB. As the report is concerned, Samsung will make sure the tablets will hit the global markets, starting from next month of this year. Pricing is unfortunately not yet revealed by the maker.

Lastly for the internal specification listing of the new Samsung branded products, the tablets will come out of the box featuring 9.7-inches and 8.0-inches screen sizes that is of 2048 x 1536 QXGA resolution Super AMOLED display, Quad 1.9GHz plus Quad 1.3GHz Exynos 5433 Octa-Core processor, three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 16 and 32 gigabytes of internal mass storage options further expandable via microSD card slot as written above, an 8 MP primary shooter with auto-focusing lens, capable of recording Quad High Definition videos of 2560 x 1440 pixels at 30 frames-per-second and a 2.1 MP front facer.

On the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 there is a larger 5,870mAh battery and the unit is scaled at 169 x 237.3 x 5.6 mm, weighing 389 grams for the WiFi version & 392 grams for the LTE model, where else the Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 comes packing a smaller 4,000mAh powered battery, which is measured at 134.8 x 198.6 x 5.6 mm in dimensions, 265 and 272 grams for the WiFi and LTE replica, respectively. Both will be running on Android's version 5.0 Lollipop at boot with proprietary user interface from Samsung.
