Following the last year's Yureka model, Micromax Mobile owned YU Televentures, which is an India based consumer electronics manufacturer, announced their successor to their handset, that will be exclusively available for sales in the country through the native Amazon. The phone is set back for a price of 9,999 Indian Rupees, unlocked that makes it about 157 United States Dollars after conversions, and will begin it's sales from 24 of this month, at 12:00 PM local time in shades of MoonDust Grey and Limited Edition White.

The latest YU phone comes dubbed as Yureka Plus, running over CyanogenMod's Material Design based OS 12 out of the box, which will pack other improvements to the smartphone compared to it's predecessor in terms of a bigger and better screen with higher resolution, also featuring an enhanced camera of the previous pixel rate but with an upgraded sensor.

Other than that, the phone will scale a 5.5-inches IPS capacitive touchscreen of Full high Definition 1920 x 1080 resolution display, covering 401 pixels-per-inch, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and oleophobic coating, powered by a 64-bit Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1,5GHz and Adreno 405 Graphics Processing Unit.

Under the hood is two gigabytes of energy efficient DDR3 Random Access Memory, 16 gigabytes of internal storage, expandable via microSD card slot, a 13 megapixels main camera of Sony's IMX214 sensor with 5 element Largan Blue lens of f/2.2 aperture on the back with powerful LED flash light and a five megapixels front facing snapper of 1.4 micron pixels, that will give you some awesome selfies from the Yureka Plus. On connectivity side we have dual-SIM card support with 4G LTE Cat4 network connections, USB One-The-Go compatibility, a 2,500mAh battery that offers 210 hours of standby time.
