LG in Seoul announced their second generation G Pad II 10.1



After a while, it seems like LG have finally decided to refresh their Android tablet lineup with the latest slate from the fleet of LG G Pad series, who made it's official debut back in July of 2014 with the original G Pad 10.1, and as we are talking about the future now, we see LG Electronics announcing their all new and so-called the most advanced G Pad II 10.1, from Seoul, South Korea, earlier yesterday.

Accordingly, we will be seeing the tablet launched later at the year's International Franchise Association (IFA), trade exhibition, that's going to take it's host at the capital and cultural center of Germany, in Berlin, next month. So, following it's official launch at IFA, both the LTE and WiFi models of the slate is said to be available in markets starting with North America and eventually heading to Europe and Asia.

As we have everything we need to know about the new LG G Pad II, it is mentioned to be a perfect combination of high-end performance and affordable pricing, to satisfy the budget-minded consumers of LG in the market, who's looking for some big-screen mobile entertainment powerhouse. With it's fairly large 10.1-inches of screen size, the recent LG manufactured G Pad II 10.1 will attribute some of the nearly-modernized design with slim and sleek finish, even bringing this very slim bezels around the display, which is again boasted to be slimmest among the similar-sized tablets, in the market. And with the Dual Window feature, you will be able to run couple of applications at the same time by dividing the screen of the slate into two, for better multitasking. With QuickMemo+, you can create, save and share memos from any screen, really quickly, without even having to open another app. The product comes bundled with pre-loaded Microsoft Office for Android Tablet app and additional 100 GB of free OneDrive storage for the next two years.

Now, lets talks about the specifications of the slate, it will be here with a 10.1-inches screen of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution display marked at 224 pixels-per-inch, an upgraded 2.26GHz running Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, two gigabytes of Random Access Memory and 16 gigabytes of eMMC internal storage, that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot. The G Pad II 10.1 have a five megapixels main camera on the back with a two megapixels front facing secondary snapper.

For connectivity it supports, networks from DL 42 Mbps / UL 5.76Mbps (3G) to 4G LTE Cat.4 CA, as well as WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS with A-GPS and USB 2.0. Powered by a big 7,400mAh battery and runs Android version 5.1.1 Lollipop. The tablet comes in shade of Brilliant Bronze and is measured at 254.3 x 161.1 x 7.8 millimeters in dimensions and weighs about 489 grams on mass.
